May as Well Have a Donut ! Do you sleep thru storms? Apparently I sometimes do and did last night. I woke up about 5am with my morning agenda all planned out and got right to it. I finished up my planned household activities and headed for my truck. I am not completely oblivious noticing my grass was wet, driveway sorta soggy, glancing in the rearview my truck was leaving heavy mud tracks down my steeet. No worries, rain is a good thing. I cranked up the radio-that new song by Lady Antebellum, Downtown playing. Somewhere around 10 miles out Hwy 90 east bound Bexar County Sheriffs were waving all traffic to turn left or right on the overpass and from the lack of oncoming traffic must have been doing the same a few miles down. Flooded? How did I miss out on that news?

Seems the San Antonio area set records for rainfall over night. No use crying over spilled creek beds. I turned my truck around, headed for Haby's Bakery then my comfy dry sofa. If I cannot leave town may as well have a donut! yum.It is a Haby's donut kind of day. kisses
